Alfredo Gatti holds a rare blend of vision, pragmatism, competences and management skills, as results of a significant career in sales, marketing and first-line management roles in global companies.

Founder and Managing Partner, Alfredo Gatti has accumulated several years experience in business consulting and in investment management and a remarkable experience in M&A, developing initiatives and programs for leading System Integrators and Telco’s. His valuable contribution to the success of the Clients derives from a rare blend of vision, pragmatism, competences and management skills. He always holds a solid insight of the changing scenario and of ‘live’ business and he always has a hands-on approach to projects, liking the new challenges. He also detains a wide set of relationships.

With a remarkable career in sales, marketing and as first-line manager in different roles and European assignments in leading global companies, as well as solid technical background, he has acquired a remarkable experience in sales and marketing, in business management and in leading sales and professionals teams, always achieving a clear record of results. He also gained an extensive experience in personnel management, project management, budgeting and resource scheduling on the job.

He was System Integration B.U. executive director for AT&T in Southern Europe, responsible for sales and delivery of large integration projects to Top Accounts. Before he had been in Hewlett-Packard for 15 years, where he was  Marketing Manager of the Enterprise Organization, Sales & Marketing Manager of the Workstation Division,  Indirect Channel Sales Manager, Software Operations Manager, System Engineer Organization Manager and Project Manager of the  joint venture between HP and Telettra - a Telco company at that time belonging to Fiat Group.
His professional career began in his role as Software Chief Developer for GTE, as part of an international team in Chicago.

He is an Electronic Engineer, graduated from Politecnico di Milano, he also graduated from H.P.’s and AT&T‘s Functional Management programmes, from the “Industrat” management course at Insead in Fontainebleau and from the “Managing IT Companies” course at Cambridge Technology Group  in Boston.

He is currently member of the Board of Directors of Assintel, the Italian Association of Software and Services Companies and the author of several publications and articles relevant to ICT business.

 

Simone Scagnelli

Associate Partner, responsible for the ICT Value Management practice, Simone Scagnelli is a creative and passionate person with a diverse range of business experience, outgoing with strong and effective organisational and communication skills. Good team player and manager, able to use own initiative to achieve companies objectives.

He has achieved an important record of results in project management and providing training courses in accounting and finance in few small and medium companies.

Before, from September 2001 up to June 2003, he had been partner of an Advisors & Accountants firm located in Turin, where he achieved a good background in accounts & financial consulting and M&A.

Ph.D. in Business Administration at University of Turin, he is currently Researcher and Associate Professor of Business Administration and M&A Operations at University of Eastern Piedmont (Novara, Vercelli) and at University of Turin.

In the last two years he started on a significant professional publication activity – some of his recent selected publication are:

“Financial Management: Planning and Controlling Financial Requirements” Chapter on “Financial Management techniques: Cash management”, ” GdS EUTEKNE, Turin, September 2003.

“IAS n. 35 Discounting activities, comparison to Italian law and praxis” (in course of publication).

“IAS n. 8-Net Profit or Loss for the Period, Fundamental Errors and Changes in Accounting Policies, comparison to Italian law and praxis” .
